In 1850, The Hamilton Gas Light Company built the Gasworks to fuel streetlights and homes.
The John and Ellie Voortman Charitable Foundation purchased The Gasworks in 2014 to fuel arts, education, and community.
I always look forward to playing the Gasworks and even more so since the renovation.
The room and acoustics are outstanding. A beautiful place to play, listen or hang out with friends.

My porch show at the Gasworks was a very special experience. The sound was lush, the crowd was attentive, and having the sun set over me as I performed was magical.

Our concert on the porch of the Gasworks could not have been better! The staff was so hospitable, knowledgable, and made the whole process so easy - and the venue was gorgeous!

Performing at the Gasworks was special! A great room and great audience. Makes it easy for performers to create. I'm so glad it exists, as live music is in need.
